Zifan Luo

I recently graduated from the University of California San Diego(UCSD),where I studied Cognitive Science with a specialization in Machine Learning & Neural Computation and Data Science. My academic and research interests center on computational neuroscience and neuroinformatics. During my undergraduate training, I worked on intracranial ECoG and sEEG analysis, ripple detection, and multimodal physiological signal processing, where I developed reproducible data pipelines for large-scale neural datasets. I am passionate about integrating computational methods and data engineering approaches to better understand brain dynamics in both health and disease. I am particularly motivated by research with translational potential and hope to pursue graduate studies in a computational field in the future. When I’m not working, you will catch me in the gym, tennis courts and local running trails.
